Manfreight is pleased to announce the opening of its new 100,000sq ft Ambient Facility at Belfast Harbour, further strengthening its multi-site logistics network across the UK and Ireland and enhancing the solutions delivered to customers.
Offering over 12,000 standard pallet spaces / 15,000 Euro pallet spaces and the ability to process more than 1,050 pallets per day, the new site provides the scale, efficiency, and agility required to support today’s fast-moving supply chains.
Strategically located less than four minutes from key ferry terminals and two minutes from the main motorway network, the facility creates a seamless connection between sea freight and road distribution, reducing transit times and increasing resilience within the supply chain.
Designed around flow and operational efficiency, the facility delivers turnaround times under 30 minutes, ensuring goods keep moving and capacity remains available during periods of peak demand.
The new Ambient Facility integrates directly with Manfreight’s state-of-the-art chilled warehouse at Belfast Harbour and its temperature-controlled site in Skelmersdale, further reinforcing the company’s BRCGS-accredited, multi-temperature warehousing and distribution network.
Supported by full end-to-end digital tracking and part-financed by Danske Bank, this investment reflects Manfreight’s continued commitment to enhancing capability, sustainability, and connectivity across its UK and Ireland operations.
Smarter. Greener. More Connected.
