Manfreight was delighted to support the 2026 GroceryAid Grocers’ Ball, held at the iconic Culloden Estate & Spa in Belfast, bringing together members of the grocery industry for an evening dedicated to raising awareness and funds for an important cause.
As part of its support for the event, Manfreight provided space within its state-of-the-art Belfast chilled facility to support the preparation and coordination of the Grocers’ Ball hampers. The facility enabled the hampers to be carefully picked and packed ahead of their delivery to the Culloden Hotel on Friday evening, ensuring everything was ready ahead of the event.
The successful operation was made possible through the combined efforts of a fantastic team of volunteers, who generously gave their time to assemble the hampers, alongside Manfreight’s dedicated warehouse colleagues who supported the process and helped ensure the operation ran smoothly.
Their teamwork, commitment, and enthusiasm demonstrated the strong community spirit that continues to underpin events such as the GroceryAid Grocers’ Ball.
GroceryAid is a UK-wide charity dedicated to supporting people working across the grocery industry, including colleagues within supermarkets, wholesalers, and manufacturing businesses. The charity provides essential emotional, practical, and financial support through services including crisis grants, debt advice, counselling, and 24/7 emotional support.
Manfreight is proud to support initiatives that make a positive difference within the industries and communities it serves. Supporting the GroceryAid Grocers’ Ball reflects the company’s commitment to working collaboratively with partners and helping raise awareness for organisations that provide vital support to those who need it most.
Manfreight extends its congratulations to the Grocers’ Ball committee, volunteers, organisers, and everyone involved in delivering another successful event, and is proud to have played a part in supporting such a worthwhile cause.
