To celebrate 50 years of operational excellence, Manfreight is proud to introduce two Scania 770S Anniversary Edition trucks into its fleet—vehicles that not only represent cutting-edge performance but also honour two of the company’s longest-serving drivers.
The arrival of these striking new lorries, MFZ 770 and JS10 WEY, marks a significant milestone in Manfreight’s journey of growth, innovation, and people-first values. Assigned to Stephen Rea and Steven Cairnie, the trucks serve as a tribute to their decades of dedication, professionalism, and passion.
Stephen’s journey with Manfreight began over 20 years ago, when he was entrusted with a new Volvo for his first trip to Gillingham Co-op in 2000. Around the same time, Steven began his career with the company behind the wheel of X228 HEE, laying the groundwork for a remarkable legacy of commitment and service.
Today, both drivers continue to play an integral role in the success of Manfreight’s operations. The Scania 770S models not only symbolise the company's investment in state-of-the-art transport solutions but also stand as a gesture of gratitude to those who have helped build the business over the last half-century.
As Manfreight looks ahead to the future, these anniversary trucks serve as a reminder of the values that have defined its journey—innovation, loyalty, and a relentless drive for excellence.
